Conducting Examination in Music Education
Conducting examination is the next process after credit union certification. Credit unions carry with them the obligation to conduct examination for its members every year, which can be done by sending the application to the National Association of Board of Directors. The examination is carried out on behalf of the member, who is then granted membership. This membership is granted on the basis of his/her financial capability and his/her performance in the given area.
The administrator shall conduct the examination within a reasonable period of time and within such parameters that are prescribed by the Applicants. Within such parameters, the administrator shall determine the areas in which the applicant failed and the areas in which he/she passed the examination. These results shall be used as the basis for evaluating the performance of the applicant in terms of his/her future plans and objectives. If the credit union finds that the member has not been able to meet the minimum performance criteria or has been found eligible for recertification, it shall refer the applicant to the National Association of Board of Directors to get the waiver or certification.
In the United States, there are two examinations in which one has to pass, in order to become a member of the National Association of Boards of Dance and Music Education (NABCEMA) and in order to receive the official certificate. These two exams are conducted in August and in November each year. Candidates who wish to take up the August exam have to fill an application form. The form gives details about the educational qualifications that one needs to prove. Candidates who successfully pass both exams will be issued the credential of being a member of the association.
